Updates Milpitas North will be holding Sign-ups for the 2008 season starting November 13, Sign-up will be held at Mountain Mikes Pizza located at 85 N. Milpitas Blvd. Following are the Dates and Times sign-ups will be held Tuesdays - Nov. 13th, Dec. 11th and Jan. 8th from 6:00 - 8:00pm Saturdays - Dec. 8th and Jan. 12th from 12:00 - 3:00pm Early Registration Fee is for the November and December dates Only Early registration fees for T-Ball and Farm Division is $65.00 For the Minor Division and up it's $75.00 * Regular registration Fees are $10.00 more (Family discounts available for each additional child) As the season draws near our we are looking for volunteers for Head coaches , and assistant coaches in All Divisions. Little League Rule Change For the 2008 season National Little League at Williams Port is requiring all Leagues to have break-away bases on all field. Leagues had the option in 2007 to start installing these bases on their field with the understating that in 2008 this would be manditory. The break away bases will disengage from the mounts when a player slides into them with enough force. The hope is to help eliminate some common injuries suffered by players when they slide intot he base. |

Milpitas North Little League 2008 Season
2008 Marks Milpitas North's 45th season as a Little League affiliate. For the past 44 year we have been serving Milpitas' youth as a non profit organization. During those years we have been fortunate to help our young athletes learn the fundamentals of Baseball, and sportsmanship.
Milpitas North Little League is dedicating this 2008 season to two wonderful fathers and coaches. Amir Qureshi and Phil Lora who both played a huge part for this League. Their positive attitudes, their willingness to coach and show up for games helped mold and shape so many young kids as well as coaches lives. When I heard the many positive things Amir and Phil did a passage in Luke 10:25 came to mind. In this passage Jesus talks about the Good Samaritan and how this man helped someone in need out of the kindness of his heart. It’s like how these two dads, Amir and Phill, out of the kindness of their hearts helped these kids and couches. Whatever was needed, they would help out. These two Dads were great men and Good Samaritans in the lives of many kids, families and this League. So I dedicate this 2008 Milpitas North Little League opening season to Amir Qureshi and Phil Lora.
